09/08/2008 -- Rupnik Wins Senior Club Championship
Congratulations to Bob Rupnik who won the senior club championship by posting a 70-73 to win by three strokes over George Hinman. Bob started the final round with a one stroke lead and even with a double bogie on 17, he finished strong with a birdie on the final hole for a three shot victory. 07/22/2008 -- Humphries and Cross win The Invitational
Shane Humphries and Daniel Cross shot a final round 65 to edge David Sinclair and Wayne Whitley by one shot and claim the 2008 Invitational championship the week of July 18, 19 and 20th. Rounding out the top six finishers were Ken Peacock and Jeff Zachary, followed by Adam Hand and Ben Brister, then Kevin and Justin Brady and Chris Berry and Gary Hand finished in 6th place. 07/07/2008 -- Hinman Wins Club Championship
George Hinman completes the Hinman sweep and won the club championship title to go along with his current senior club championship title. Over the July 4th weekend the club championship was contested with Hinman and Jason Ryu ending up tied for the title. George shot 70-75 while Ryu shot 69-76 which sent them to a playoff. 06/18/2007 -- Castlewoods CC Hosts the MGA State Father/Son Tournament
The Mississippi Golf Association once again selected Castlewoods as one of three host courses for the State Father/Son. Even with 34 straight days of no measurable rain, the course proved to be in great condition and enjoyed by those who played. 03/07/2006 -- 2005 Golf Course Improvements leave Castlewoods 'Bear' longer and more playable for 2006
During 2005 Castlewoods Country Club's golf course underwent several modifications including bunker repair, drainage improvements, renovation and lengthening of several tee surfaces, creation of a new irrigation storage lake and expansion of the practice facility teeing area.
