Bob started the final round with a one stroke lead and even with a double bogie on 17, he finished strong with a birdie on the final hole for a three shot victory. The Super Seniors Championship was won by Charlie Carnaghie with scores of Read Entire Article 07/22/2008 -- Humphries and Cross win The InvitationalShane Humphries and Daniel Cross shot a final round 65 to edge David Sinclair and Wayne Whitley by one shot and claim the 2008 Invitational championship the week of July 18, 19 and 20th. Rounding out the top six finishers were Ken Peacock and Jeff Zachary, followed by Adam Hand and Ben Brister, then Kevin and Justin Brady and Chris Berry and Gary Hand finished in 6th place. Over the July 4th weekend the club championship was contested with Hinman and Jason Ryu ending up tied for the title. George shot 70-75 while Ryu shot 69-76 which sent them to a playoff.
